Our Classrooms

In order to accommodate each child’s needs under this curriculum it is important for the teachers to create an environment that is diverse in materials and reflects the thought and ideas of children.  The environment should not only build students' skills but should also create an environment to stimulate imagination, creativity, socialization, exploration and discovery. Documentation of children's work is an integral part of our school. Parents, teachers and children benefit from in-depth reflection and review of work done by the children.

The best way to describe our beautiful classrooms is to show you.

Our children have cubbies that they use to place their personal items such as coats, lunch boxes, and security blanket. Our dramatic play areas keep the children using their imaginations constantly.  Our three year olds have created a supermarket for their dramatic play area. Math is learned in stages.  Each classroom has a math center that has age appropriate objects, numbers, and puzzles to aid in this development.

Naturally children are intrigued by science.  Whether it be dinosaurs or birds our science centers are filled with wonderful and new experiences that children can journey with. As children develop so does their skill in writing.  Writing just like math and science are learned in stages.  The writing centers are equipped with the essential items needed for writing development.   One of our teachers is showing her students NASA on the computer in her classroom.  Each computer has safe internet access and age appropriate software. The loft is a useful tool for multiple things.  The top section
