Workdays: Full Time, Monday through Friday  

Teaching Requirements:
* Early Childhood degree (or related field), and experience with developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum 
*knowledge of the Reggio Approach and the Project Approach   *excellent communication skills:  writing and speaking skills     *ability and desire to think creatively about ideas    *interest in classroom research    *computer literacy    *strong collaboration with peers and parents: values discussing observations and reflections with others on a regular basis   *ability to multi-task     *long term commitment    *PASSION!     * excellent organizational skills     *excellent attendance    *ability to loop (teaching the same class of  children for three years:  2-5 years of age)   *embraces the role of the researcher- continually learning about and with children *is a careful observer and listener- appreciative of and amazed by the vast capabilities of young children    *works to create strong relationships based on respect, love, and the joy of living and learning together   *views conflict as an opportunity for growth; can work toward better understanding and creative, respectful resolutions with families, co-workers, and children   *skills that support the documentation of children’s work; including computer, photography, and the use of various media/languages- clay, paint, wire, music, dance, etc.
