We would like you to come in and visit our school at any convenient time. We do recommend that if you visit us during the morning session you can see the class rooms in their full swing.
Our children have:
Have a genuine love for seeking out knowledge. Have a high level of problem solving ability.
Have a strong sense of wonder. Have a need to apply knowledge in many contexts.
Have a desire to be creative. Have self help skills and/or initiate the need to develop these skills.
Have a home environment with parents who encourage his/her own ideas, develops the child at his or her own pace and spends meaningful, rich, hands-on time with him or her in experiences instead of activities.
We are currently accepting enrollment applications for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years for the school year 2007-2008.
Available Programs
Smart
Start offers the following early childhood instructional programs:
§ Full Day - 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
§
Morning
-
8:30 am to 12:30 pm
§ School Day - 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Part Time programs may be available if space permits.
These programs are available for both the normal school year and the summer session. Placement of each child will be given individual consideration. The child’s social and cognitive abilities, age, portfolio, teacher and parent recommendations, and classroom availability will be collectively evaluated when making placement decision.
